Florida 2010 - Sandhill Cranes

We found this spectacular duo totally by accident ~ they're not far from home, on a pond that's obviously a great breeding ground! This was its crowning glory !!

Fast-forward a few days ~

2 of 3 ~ not sure what happened to the third egg

3-day old chicks, migrated from pond to open field already!
