Wildlife withdrawl -- needed some nature!

I just couldn't move fast enough to catch her explosive vault underwater. She did come up with dinner, tho!

First time we ever saw the adult pair of otters with their (apparently single) offspring. Not a good shot, but, with the dock already out - they don't come on board any longer.

I am *out of uniform* with my black sweater on -- it was much colder for me just sitting on the cart all day long, as opposed to actually playing and being able to keep warmed up.

~and a blast from the past~ here is Team Green 2008

Maybe I'll get to play next year, instead of just cheering from the sidelines again :(

I didn't have my Nikon with me, so these aren't the greatest pictures. And there are more to come; I'm too tired to work on any more tonight. My bed awaits.

Mergansers on dock

I've never seen any mergansers hop up on the dock; usually it's the mallards that take an island vacation up there.
