and..for those still watching ...

Damn ambulance showed up & sure enough, all 3 of them slacked off and didn't do another lick of work that day.

By the time I shot the ambulance in the driveway, I was already assured that Mark, (in tremendous pain) was (not dead) going to be ok, and was being transported to the hospital - with a broken rib (back rib, not chest side) & an unknown amount of cracked ones to go along. Seems there was something about a kamikaze ladder that flipped itself into the boat slip, and in doing so, flipped Mark off in the other direction, flat (and hard) on his shoulder/back.

He is now resting as (un)comfortably as you can with a broken rib which doctors can do nothing for.

Only a guy would break his own bones to get out of reciprocating a work favour!!

Special thanks to Glenn, Richard, Dave, James, Justin, Kevin, and the paramedics for the help in getting it this far!!

set up in his spot

~ quite a departure from the situation only a few short days ago!

Sherry was going to have a little holiday when Markie-dearest was supposed to be golfing down in the sunny south this week! In one fell swoop (heavy on the 'fell') - not only did my holiday disappear into thin air, I gained a patient (who's not very)!

Double whammy!!

(How did it ever come to this, LoL!)
