A beautiful start to the day

 

(Easter Seals) Camp Merrywood on the far side of the lake

 

 

So close, yet so far away -- Bald eagle against the ever-changing pre-dusk sky

Before sunset, I was gazing/scanning the far shoreline thru the spotting scope; lo and behold, there it was perched in a tree big as life, but oh-so-small by camera

 

Mergansers in a bit closer than the soaring eagle

 

 

It's all in the lighting

 

Differences in available light

From the livingroom, the water appears blue

 

Looking down from the boatlift, the water appears green

 

Unfortunately, poor focus here

 

Cool, crisp Nov. morning
